This premium non-insulated side-hinged door is an upgrade on our budget version. Designed to offer superior strength, style, and security, the door comes with higher specification reinforced bracing for a more secure overall construction. For protection against the elements and to help seal the door, there is a gasket between the door leaf and frame. A low maintenance, powder coat paint finish with an improved black lever handle as standard.

Mortice Locking for added security using a latch and deadlock system with an adjustable keep for precise latching and an internal thumb turn for effortless operation.

Concealed shoot bolts in the top and bottom of the inactive door leaf and innovative 3-dimensional hinges for maximum adjustment in all directions.

This single skin steel door panel comes within an aluminium sub frame, all pre-hung in an aluminium frame for easy installation. Hold-open stays are available as an optional extra. 

An optional 15mm aluminium threshold to reduce dust and rainfall getting into the garage.

Your door will be the same colour on the inside as selected for the outside.

1/3rd 2/3rd doors measurements:

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the minimum width including the frame is 1600mm. 

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the maximum width including the frame is 2540mm. 

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the minimum height including the frame is 1550mm. 

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the maximum height including the frame is 2340mm. 

50/50 door measurements:

For 50/50 doors the minimum width including the frame is 1600mm.

For 50/50 doors the maximum width including the frame is 2750mm.

For 50/50 doors the minimum height including the frame is 1550mm.

For 50/50 doors the maximum height including the frame is 2340mm.

Frame sizes do not include fitting tolerances - this must be allowed for if required. Standard fitting tolerance would be to remove 20mm off the width and 10mm off the height.

Side Hinged Door Measuring Guide

PLEASE ENSURE YOU FULLY READ THIS 'MEASURING GUIDE' BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER. This is a made-to-order door, once manufactured, cancellations or returns are not accepted.

Side hinged doors are supplied with a pre-assembled steel subframe so the sizes include the frame.

Measure the structural opening of the garage door, take the width measurement in 3 places, across the top, middle and bottom and the height in 3 places. If fitting in-between you should use the shortest measurement for both width and height and then take a little more off to allow for fitting tolerance. Usually 20mm off the width (2x 10mm each side) and 10mm off the height.

Garage Doors - UK mainland delivery only, excludes certain Scottish Highland postcodes. Please ensure the road access is suitable for a Heavy Goods Vehicle and there is suitable space to park safely to offload your door.

We operate a 1 driver delivery service. Our driver will require assistance from someone able-bodied to help unload the door to an appropriate place which is not an excessive distance from the delivery truck.
