This non-insulated side-hinged door offers a quality, low-maintenance solution for those on a budget.

Traditional side hinged doors are simple and easy to operate. A strong steel construction with a low maintenance powder coat paint finish. Steel bracing gives the door a robust feel with twin latches on the active leaf and shoot bolts on the inactive leaf. 

It comes with a steel subframe fitted as standard for easy installation and hold-open stays available as an option extra.

Note:

1/3rd 2/3rd doors measurements:

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the minimum width including the frame is 1500mm. 

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the maximum width including the frame is 2540mm. 

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the minimum height including the frame is 1650mm. 

For 1/3rd 2/3rd doors the maximum height including the frame is 2340mm. 

50/50 door measurements:

For 50/50 doors the minimum width including the frame is 1500mm.

For 50/50 doors the maximum width including the frame is 2750mm.

For 50/50 doors the minimum height including the frame is 1650mm.

For 50/50 doors the maximum height including the frame is 2340mm.

Frame sizes do not include fitting tolerances - this must be allow for if required.

Standard fitting tolerance would be to remove 20mm off the width and 10mm off the height.

This door does not come with a bottom threshold.

The doors are supplied fully assembled as a single unit in the frame, making the installation much easier than other doors on the market. As a result of this, these doors can be heavy to lift. Budget doors weigh between 40kg - 70kg depending on the size and spec.

To keep our costs as keen as possible we operate a one driver delivery. Our driver will deliver the door to the edge of the vehicle, at which point you will be required to take delivery. Please ensure you have sufficient labour available at the time of delivery to safely move the door.

Side hinged doors are supplied with a pre-assembled steel subframe so the sizes include the frame.


Measure the structural opening of the garage door, take the width measurement in 3 places, across the top, middle and bottom and the height in 3 places. If fitting in-between you should use the shortest measurement for both width and height and then take a little more off to allow for fitting tolerance. Usually 20mm off the width (2x 10mm each side) and 10mm off the height.


 

Garage Doors - UK mainland delivery only, excludes certain Scottish Highland postcodes. Please ensure the road access is suitable for a Heavy Goods Vehicle and there is suitable space to park safely to offload your door.

We operate a 1 driver delivery service. Our driver will require assistance from someone able-bodied to help unload the door to an appropriate place which is not an excessive distance from the delivery truck.
